Ages 9-14

A girl relentlessly manipulates and eliminates writing class partners until she is partners with a girl against whom she carries a deep, dark grudge.  She plots her revenge through a slow campaign of Writing Class Partner Terror.  Each macabre writing assignment is not only designed to make her target very uncomfortable, but also provide a clue as to the grudge.

*Where the Fire Meets the Sea

Ages 9-18

A group of students must decide what their science project will be, and decide to present a Volcano Project.  As they create their project, they are drawn to the ancient myth of Pele and Namak, the story of the two deity sisters of Fire and Sea.   As the students explore the myth, their own stories are revealed as they create their presentation.  Pele and Namak bring the students to explore themes of friendship, respect, anger, calm, and the importance of having one person who knows and understands you.
